Eagles

Isaiah 40:31

Kodiak is home to many eagles. You don’t have to look hard to find them.

Their beauty and power is on display as they rise to great heights and then swoop down on their prey with great accuracy.. The gracefulness of their wings is matched with the power of their wings. Eagles soar through the sky without flapping their wings. They have learned to use the wind to carry them high above the ground gracefully soaring to heights that no other bird can. Many a tree will have an eagle sitting at the top carefully watching his surroundings. They are a majestic bird and beautiful to watch as they soar across the sky or sit proudly atop a tree.

Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “ But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Kodiak Baptist Mission delights in teaching the children that spend their days here to soar like the eagles. The hope of the Lord is taught to each child so that they will know where their strength comes from.

The children may be riding horses, playing golf, working in the barn or just taking a walk , but in everything they do Jesus is being proclaimed. His strength is offered to every child throughout their day.

We want the children to be strong and not faint in their love for Jesus.

We want every Child here to know Jesus and know they are loved.

We want them to know the hope of Jesus! We want them to soar!

Soar with Jesus!
